The Ministry of Energy has signed an Implementation Agreement with Clean Energy Capital LLC for an offshore wind project in the Caspian Sea.
The deal with the subsidiary of Azerbaijan Green Energy Company covers the assessment, development and implementation of a 600MW scheme.

The project will start with an initial 200MW phase, according to the ministry.
Clean Energy Capital will carry out research within a designated water area under the agreement.
