Zephyr Renewable has agreed to acquire a portfolio of Swedish offshore wind development projects from Statkraft.
The deal includes assets in the Bothnia Offshore Sigma and Lambda North areas, located in the Bothnian Sea, it said.
Permit applications for the projects have previously been submitted and are under review by regional authorities.
Zephyr said the agreement, which will be subject to regulatory approvals, will give it the largest offshore wind portfolio in Sweden.
The company’s offshore wind project development manager Simon Landqvist said: “We at Zephyr are very pleased with this acquisition.
“The portfolio has great potential and the expertise that Zephyr possesses in offshore wind power will now come in handy in the continued development of the projects.”
