NASH Maritime has been appointed by Haskoning to lead the shipping and navigation assessment for the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Gwynt Glas floating offshore wind farm.
The company said it will identify and assess all shipping and navigation impacts and develop appropriate mitigations through a Navigation Risk Assessment supported by data collection and stakeholder engagement.
NASH added that the award builds on its involvement in Celtic Sea projects including Erebus and White Cross and its advisory work for The Crown Estate on Round 5.
“We’re proud to continue our work in enabling safe and sustainable offshore wind development in the Celtic Sea,” NASH Maritime associate director Dr Andrew Rawson said.
“Our team brings unrivalled experience in navigation risk and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that shipping and offshore wind can coexist successfully,” Rawson said.
