Skyborn Renewables and Dajin Heavy Industry have signed a contract for the supply of transition pieces for the Gennaker offshore wind project.
Skyborn Renewables said: “We are excited to advance into the execution phase with Dajin,” said Patrick Lammers, CEO of Skyborn Renewables.
Dajin Heavy Industry said: “This contract reflects our shared commitment to excellence and our contribution to Europe’s renewable energy transition,” added Jin Xin, Chairman of Dajin Heavy Industry.
The companies said Gennaker will have an installed capacity of up to 976.5MW, will be located in the German Baltic Sea and is scheduled for commissioning in 2028.
They said the project will supply clean energy to about 1 million households.
